Trustees/Directors of SaltMalawi

SaltMalawi trustees are committed Christians who share the vision of the Malawian Disciples of Jesus Church:

Julian Lott
(Chair of Trustees)
Julian and his wife Caroline lived in Malawi for many years - a transformative experience, motivating their enduring passion for the church there. Returning to the UK and relocating in the Forest of Dean, they appreciate both the peaceful beauty of this corner of England and being closer to family. They remain open to regular return visits, sustaining relationships and supporting Malawian churches for discipleship and evangelism.

Lorna Harris
(Company Secretary)
Lorna is book-keeper and secretary for SaltMalawi, the UK charitable company. Her professional expertise, loyalty and commitment are key to our ability to function as a small charity. Lorna works with small businesses in the Leamington Spa area, where she is also a loyal member of Myton Church, mother, grandma and member of local choir ‘Sing It Loud’.

Peter Taylor
Peter is a member of Mariners Church in Gloucester Docks. He is married with three daughters, one son and two granddaughters (so far). He has known Julian and Caroline since they moved to Gloucester for missionary training at Redcliffe College. He became a trustee of SaltMalawi towards the end of 2021 and now circulates prayer requests to the network of churches and individuals who subscribe to our prayer support database. He also facilitates our monthly online prayer meetings.

Bryony Pannell
Bryony first went to Malawi in 2011 as a short-term missionary doctor at Partners in Hope in Lilongwe with Serving in Mission. She met Julian and Caroline through mutual friends and was inspired by their work and integrity. She continues support to people in Malawi and is delighted to become a trustee of Salt Malawi.

SaltMalawi is actively searching to recruit trustees. We are open to approaches from committed Christians who could share our passion for God’s work in Malawi. If you want to help the Church to flourish and to see social justice done in Malawi, consider applying to join us. We are conscious of our need to increase diversity. We seek to add relevant skills and experience.
