Trustees/Directors of SaltMalawi
SaltMalawi has four directors who are also trustees. They are all committed Christians who share the vision of the Malawian Disciples of Jesus Church. They are:
Malcolm Franks |
Malcolm (Chair of Trustees) is a retired businessman, married with 3 sons and 6 grandchildren. He brings experience of business and charities governance in the UK and internationally. |
Evan Winter |
Evan previously worked with Global Connections and Agapé including spending 6 years in Malawi and 4 in S Africa. He is now semi-retired with involvement in a number of missions and his church. Despite not particularly enjoying policy development, this is one of the main roles he has undertaken with Salt Malawi. He is married to Clare, has 2 grown up and married children and 2 grandchildren. |
Stephen Dorey |
Steve is a member of Gloucester Community Church and is married with four sons and seven grandchildren (so far). He is a stock photographer and has been to visit Julian and Caroline in Malawi twice. Steve is responsible for distributing the SaltMalawi newsletter. |
Peter Taylor |
Peter is a member of Mariners Church in Gloucester. He is married with three daughters, one son and one grandchild (so far). He has known Julian and Caroline since they moved to Gloucester for missionary training at Redcliffe College. He became a trustee of SaltMalawi towards the end of 2021 and now assists Brian with circulating prayer requests to the network of churches and individuals who subscribe to our prayer support data-base. |
SaltMalawi is actively searching to recruit trustees. We are open to approaches from committed Christians who could share our passion for God’s work in Malawi. If you want to help the Church to flourish and to see social justice done in Malawi, consider applying to join us. We are conscious of our need to increase diversity. We seek to add relevant skills and experience.
